
FA: Sr Designer Learn & Media Tech
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Designer, Learning Media and Technology at FedEx Office will lead efforts to move learning at FedEx Office utilizing key and evolving media and technology to impact the team member learning experience. This role partners with a group of passionate L&D professionals to create the future of learning for our organization. The Sr. Designer, Learning Media and Technology will plan and drive work to source, recommend, and implement future-focused solutions that provide “just in time, and just for me” learning. In collaboration with the L&D and HR Tech Enablement Teams, Communications Team, and other FedEx business partners, this role will apply your creativity, keen technical know-how and passion for adult learning to create best-in-class learning solutions for our wide array of team member roles while also owning the creation, execution, and sustainment of media solutions, including visual aids and video and audio solutions. Additionally, you will serve as the primary L&D liaison for IT, HR Technology Enablement, and Asset Management, as well as vendor solutions and providers.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads efforts to strategize next-level learning in media and technology at FedEx Office.
Leads efforts to source, recommend, and implement leading-edge learning technology solutions.
Establishes and maintains connection with the business to stay abreast of changes in business environment and learning needs in order to continuously meet learners.
Partners with Learning team to define plans/approaches for large-scale, national projects requiring eLearning, complex development, graphic/visual/creative support, and/or emerging technology.
Consults with program teams on learning projects (or portions of larger projects) to create learning recommendations and program maps.
Liaises with Technology teams and Learning Designers to troubleshoot and resolve course functionality issues in the LMS.
Serves as primary contact for IT, Tech Support, and Asset Management to coordinate and resolve software and hardware issues and system upgrades/migrations.
Serves as primary vendor contact and contract admin for development software and applications (Articulate, Adobe, WellSaid, Vyond, etc.), partnering as needed with HR Tech Enablement and Learning Planning & Analytics teams.
Shoots and edits visual and audio footage for in-house video productions and performs all finish-out work to arrive at final product.
Leads and coordinates vendor video production when applicable, managing timelines, content reviews, and vendor relationship for the duration of the engagement.
Consults and makes recommendations for media requests, partnering with Internal Communications where appropriate, to determine the best solution.
Where applicable, attends intake/assessment meetings, program team meetings, etc. to gather business requirements, provide status reports, ensure responsive communication to business owners and SMEs, and identify any variations or risks to agreed-upon project requirements/scope.
Prepares deliverables for use with technology-based systems including the LMS, virtual learning environment, and SharePoint web site including compatibility and QA testing.
Owns and maintains the Talent Management pages of FedEx One, the intranet SharePoint site.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years eLearning design, development, and implementation experience
5+ years instructional design or training/facilitation experience preferred
5+ years with learning media development and editing
4+ years project leadership experience preferred
Prior experience working with instructional design principles, methods, and models including ADDIE, SAM, or agile design; adult learning principles; interactive learning design; eLearning design principles for synchronous, asynchronous, and blended strategies
Prior experience with the ISD process including performance analysis, training needs assessment, audience/job/task analysis, course design, content development (storyboards, scripts, practice items), and evaluation preferred
Proficiency in the Articulate Suite (Storyline/Studio, Rise); Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro); experience with Trivantis Lectora and Adobe Captivate a plus
Proven experience working with graphic design, videography, and/or website development
Prior experience working with learning technology infrastructure including LMS, virtual learning environments, and video hosting solutions preferred
Prior experience with eLearning industry standards (AICC/SCORM) preferred
Prior experience consulting with others and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Prior experience working with corporate executives and subject matter experts
Prior experience managing vendor relationships preferred
