POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator position provides support to the daily operations of the Talent Acquisition function. This position will provide administrative support and coordination of TA tasks to support the attraction & sourcing, recruiting, and TA planning and analytics teams. Through centralized administration this role will drive coordination and administration efficiency through navigating processes and technology to provide strong customer service responses and results.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regularly interacts by phone or email with internal and external candidates and management to answer questions and supply information

  • Provides administrative support and coordinates activities for the Talent Acquisition Team to impact results such as an increase in hires and service levels

  • Ensures an excellent candidate and team member experience handling communication, scheduling, and updates

  • Creates and posts requisitions in the applicant tracking system

  • Initiates, creates, and processes external candidate offers

  • Converts requisitions to new roles to support business needs as necessary

  • Updates primary and secondary recruiters on requisitions in the applicant tracking system

  • Coordinates, schedules, and plans for hiring events

  • Coordinates and schedules interviews for internal and external candidates

  • Assists recruiters and managers with applicant tracking system questions and concerns

  • When necessary, dispositions candidates and closes out requisitions

  • Tracks and follows-up with candidates regarding background and drug screens

  • Participates in Talent Acquisition related projects and make recommendations for process improvements and team efficiencies requiring independent judgment and decision making

  • Troubleshooting and support of the FedEx Office applicant tracking system

  • Supports new hire on-boarding by providing candidates and managers necessary information

  • Participate and contribute to adhoc TA projects and initiatives as required

  • All other duties as needed or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruiting, Human Resources, or other relevant experience

  • 1+ years experience in Recruiting / HR related software

  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, including Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Advanced knowledge of applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday

  • Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service at all times

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Experience handling confidential documents and information with proper discretion

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and handle fast paced work environment

  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring

  • For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook

  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the FedEx Office business; regular attendance and/or reporting could include regular attendance at a physical location and/or maintaining established business hours depending on the scope and nature of the position
